***********************************************************************************

I have a history with Dr. Bronner. I found a bottle of his Peppermint liquid soap in a hippie type shop when I was probably about sixteen. I was out of town visiting a friend who had moved off to collage. Yeah, I was in a cool collage town with lots of vegan eateries, handmade hippie shops & beautiful people everywhere. I loved it!

Anyway I saw this random bottle and it instantly caught my eye because of all the writing on it. I really had no idea what I was buying, but out of the whole shop I wanted it.

I remember the first time I used it. I was lying in the bathtub reading the bottle, thinking it was the most crazy-cool thing I had ever seen. The soap was amazing. It was peppermint so it was cooling and clean just like when you brush your teeth. My skin felt clean - really clean , not like regular soap which leaves a film. That was it - I had found the only face soap I was ever interested in using. Yes I've tried others but I never stay. Dr. Bronner's is another staple.

***********************************************************************************

*I want to thank Dr. Bronner's for sponsoring this giveaway. I'd also like to send a big thanks to Ryan at Mintwood Media Collective for his correspondence on the matter - he is the one who carefully picked and sent the items I am offering today. It was a great experience :))

I've been wanting to try Dr. Bronner's soaps but haven't yet. I'm was really excited when I saw your giveaway.

I was really surprised when I read that you could use it to brush your teeth. Not sure if I'd like to do that but found it really interesting.

It's important to me that they are a family company and one that has been around for 60 years.

I love Dr B's soap. I use it to wash my body in the shower, to wash my bathroom, to mix to make homemade cleaner, to wash my baby...it is surely multi-purpose! I also enjoy reading the label while I am in the shower enjoying some alone time from the baby...perhaps it is a small detail about the soap, but there is a lot of interesting text on the label to absorb in a warm shower. :)

I love the fact that not only do they have hand soaps and bars, they also have hair care products, movies (for learning) and other odds and ends for your personal hygiene care. To me what is important is that I am using the healthiest, safest products on not only my body and skin, but on my husband and 3 young children. And, I don't want to be "tricked" into thinking some products are organic and natural if they are not. I learned from Dr. Bronner's website why their products are complying with being organic! Another reason I love to use organic product is to do my share in supporting sustainable farming, and also farm worker health and ecological processing methods. I also read about this on Dr. Bronner's website. In times like this we have to think of not only ourselves, but others as well! Thank you so much for the opportunity to enter this amazing giveaway!

One of the things that is important to me about Dr. Bronner's is that it is good for the earth since it is made from natural ingredients!

Another important thing is that is has so many purposes! I use it as a body wash, I fill all the handsoap bottles in my house with it, I use it as a dishwashing liquid, and I use it when I make my own housecleaning products. It's just so amazing and versitile!
