Dr. Sharp ~ Natural Fluoride Free Oral Care ~ Family Package ~ GIVEAWAY!!! ~ Ends 5/29

Fluoride is a very controversial thing. To me there is no controversy at all - we don't do fluoride.

Fluoride was first used in a mass water supply in Germany's Nazi prison camps. The reason for mass-medicating water with sodium fluoride was to force the people in their concentration camps into calm, sheepish submission. Scary & no thanks. This was just something I learned in collage and just looked up and re-read.

The fluoride facts that are given by Dr. Sharp are as follows:

* Fluoride has been linked to a number of health problems that include dental fluorosis, thyroid problems, osteoporosis, cancer and more.

* People already are ingesting the proper amount of fluoride on a daily basis and it is not necessary to have more. An excess of fluoride inhibits digestive enzymes and leads to eating disorders in child and adults.

* 32% of American children have some form of dental flourosis, a white or brown mottling of the teeth . Research has tied fluoridation of the water to bone cancer in young boys and hip fractures in women.

* High levels of fluoride can cause bone pain, spurs, and fused vertebrae.

Thank you Dr. Sharp! -who is an actual dentist in Florida. Dr. Sharp opened his current professional dental-care practice in 1997 in Coconut Grove, Florida. He is an active member of the following professional dental associations: Florida Dental Association, American Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontics, and the International Academy of Oral Medicine & Toxicology.

A real dentist who speaks against & and created a line of oral care sans fluoride! I can't wait to share with my fluoride pushing dentist! He and I have had this discussion before when I refuse fluoride treatments. He acts like it's no big deal - he has also acted like mercury in fillings is really no big deal either. It's all a matter of being conscious and looking for answers outside of what we are taught - something my dentist obviously has not done. Thank you again Dr. Sharp!

The line of natural fluoride - free oral care includes :

Fresh mint whitening toothpaste -uses a fluoride- and detergent-free formula that contains no synthetic colors, flavors, or alcohol.

Aromatic mint oil, sage leaf extract, and carrageenan combine to help fight bacteria, protect sensitive teeth and gums, and maintain tooth enamel.

Non-abrasive natural whiteners bamboo powder, titanium, and calcium carbonate help to whiten teeth when brushing regularly

Green Tea Whitening Toothpaste-uses a fluoride- and detergent-free formula that contains no synthetic colors, flavors, or alcohol. Natural tea tree extracts, echinacea, and myrrh contain soothing antioxidant properties to provide antiseptic, bactericidal, and fungicidal benefits.

Non-abrasive natural whiteners bamboo powder, titanium, and calcium carbonate help to whiten teeth when brushing regularly

Strawberry Cream Kids Toothpaste- We are so careful to monitor everything that our children put into their mouths, yet we actually encourage them to ingest something that can potentially be poisonous – fluoride.

According to the Fluoride Action Network, there are thousands of reports to Poison Control centers in America each year related to excessive ingestion of fluoride by children. Created especially for kids, our Strawberry Cream Kids
Toothpaste is a healthy and great-tasting alternative to fluoride-based toothpastes.

From the popularity of its flavor to its pleasing taste, this kid-friendly toothpaste makes brushing safe and fun. We use a fluoride- and detergent-free formula that contains no synthetic colors, flavors, or alcohol. Natural sage and bambusa stem extracts combine to make a natural strawberry flavor, while soothing carrageenan protects gums and maintains good oral health.

Fresh Mint Mouthwash- Dr. Sharp’s Fresh Mint Mouthwash uses a fluoride- and detergent-free formula that contains no synthetic colors, flavors, or alcohol.

Witch hazel, licorice, and sage extracts with soothing properties combine with aromatic mint flavor to provide a fresh mouthwash for daily use after brushing
.

Dr. Sharp also carries toothbrushes and tongue cleaners.

I am so thrilled to find Dr. Sharp's and to be able to share with you. I love the modern packaging too.

i learned that their revolutionary double-action tongue cleaner is specially made with two important features – a long handle with a soft DuPont nylon tynex bristle, and a scraper. The handle is designed to reach the back part of the tongue while the bristle brushes away bacteria, and the scraper works to remove remaining bacteria and help eliminate bad breath -- thank you for the chance!

I learned that European countries and Japan have banned fluoridation because their scientists found no credible evidence of benefit and did find sufficient concerns regarding the safety of fluoride in drinking water. Wow...I must say, I'm really glad I found this information. My pediatrician had been giving me a hard time because I've been reluctant to give my daughter fluoride drops (since we're on well water). My dentist seemed to think fluoride drops were not needed and so it's good to find this information to further help me make a decision not to use it with my daughter.

I learned that their commitment to sustainability also extends to the packaging they use – the boxes are printed with soy ink, and the bottles are PBA-free. Also, the packaging and components for the toothbrushes and tongue cleaner are recyclable, except for the bristles.
Thanks!
