I enjoy a good chai. It's spicy and creamy and frothy. I normally drink it hot - no matter the season. The spices in chai aid digestion, enhance the immune system, fights inflammation and has antioxidant properties. Chai has been consumed for centuries in India to preserve health and increase peace of mind.

So back to this chai/manna from the coffee gods. So simple, so good. You won't need to go out for coffee, you'll have it right at home!
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. clove
1/4 tsp. coriander
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. cardamom
3 black tea bags (I love PG Tips)
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup condensed milk *optional (more creamy)
I use the multi-serve tumbler - you can adjust measurement for size. Fill tumbler with ice. Pour in milks. Add sweetener. Place all dry ingredients into the filter basket. Select desired size. Select brew over ice. Wait for the beep to signal it's complete. Secure the lid & shake well to combine.
Garnish with whipped creme or frothed milk. Sprinkle with your choice of spice.
